Magnus D. Vigeland

Magnus Dehli Vigeland is a senior researcher at the Department of Forensic Sciences, Oslo University Hospital, Norway. He specializes in statistical genetics and relatedness analysis, and applications in kinship testing, DVI (disaster victim identification), FIGG (forensic investigative genetic genealogy). A prolific R programmer, he maintains numerous packages for forensic genetics, and is the author of the book Pedigree Analysis in R (Academic Press, 2021).
