Øyvind Bleka

Øyvind Bleka is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Forensic Sciences at Oslo University Hospital, where he develops statistical applications within forensic science. He has developed the software EuroForMix, CaseSolver, dnamatch2 and MPSproto used for DNA comparison. In addition, he works with developing methods for age and time prediction based on various applications within genetics, radiology, and toxicology. His background is a master’s degree in statistics and data analysis and a PhD degree in forensic statistics.
