INSTRUCTIONS

The works must deal with some original aspect and/or contribution to the forensic community, both from the point of view of the material analyzed and the obtaining of results, their interpretation and conclusions, as well as the application of new techniques or technologies. The submitted works must be original and must not have been published.

The presentation must be appropriate to the protection and safeguarding of sensitive data, in such a way that it is not possible to identify personal references, case number, criminal investigation or file number, courts and/or intervening authorities and geographical region of belonging.

A presenting author may not submit more than 1 abstract for consideration, however, he/she may appear as a co-author of other works, provided that the author acting as the presenter is different.

Through this link you can download a Word file that serves as a template for the abstract and contains the requested instructions and formatting.

The abstract must be submitted through this online form.

Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation.

EVALUATION

The evaluation of the abstracts and their acceptance will be the responsibility of an Examining Committee, which through the GHEP-ISFG secretariat will communicate its acceptance for presentation.

If an oral presentation has not been selected for oral presentation, it will be evaluated for presentation as a poster.

Abstracts containing similar data from the same institution and/or individuals will be rejected.

Posters: Size: 1.20 meters (length) x 0.90 meters (width). Vertical design, placement and removal of posters will be the responsibility of the authors. The posters must be explained to the attendees who may be interested during the schedules provided in the program.
