Download organizational chart here.

The intercomparison exercise (EIADN) consists of various samples of blood and/or other biological fluids and hair for analysis by the participating laboratories. It is divided in two levels: Basic and Advanced. The basic level is divided into a kinship module and a forensic module, both of which include theoretical exercises. The advanced level consists of an analytical forensic module. In this level, the GHEP-ISFG includes two advanced theoretical challenges (ATC), kinship and forensic, developed by one or more internationally recognized experts.

Extra modules include a non-human item for species identification and analysis of reference and forensic samples by Massive Parallel Sequencing (MPS).

Since 2014 the Basic level is accredited under ISO/IEC 17043:2010.

To participate in any module, it is required to participate in the Basic Kinship level.

For detailed information, please read the participation rules.
