WORKSHOPS
The Autumn 2024 Edition of the GHEP Online School includes the following 3 workshops:
Workshop 1 | Kinship and pedigree analysis: Methods and applications. Magnus D. Vigeland & Thore Egeland. October 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2024. 16h-20h (CET).
Workshop 2 | Mixture interpretation and the use of the probabilistic genotyping software EuroForMix and DNAStatistX. Peter Gill, Oyvind Bleka & Corina Benschop. October 8, 15, 22 and 29, 2024. 16h-19h (CET). Schedule to be confirmed
Workshop 3 | Análisis estadístico, interpretación y comunicación en genética forense. Nádia Pinto & Andrea Sala. October 9, 16, 23 and 30, 2024. 16h-20h (CET). Schedule to be confirmed

REGISTRATION
Registration for any of the events will be carried out through the GHEP-ISFG website.
Please register via the online form. Registration will open on August 15, 2024.
FEES
GHEP-ISFG Members (and student members)
Members of the GHEP-ISFG must be up to date with their fees (2024) to enroll in the workshops.
As detailed in the table, GHEP-ISFG members will have registration priority until 31/08/2024. After that date, everyone will be able to register for any of the workshops, until seats are filled. Due to the limitation of seats in the different events, those who register, but do not have seats, will remain on the waiting list. For all those registered with a seat, you will have until September 1st to make the payment (it is advisable to make the payment immediately with the registration). After that date, if the payment has not been made, the reservation of the seat may be lost, in favor of those who have remained on the waiting list, who will be contacted to confirm registration and make payment immediately, to ensure their seat.
During this special registration period, GHEP-ISFG members may enroll in two or three workshops at a special discount rate. If you want to register in more than one workshop, during registration you may choose the corresponding workshop package:
WS1 + WS2 - Pack 1+2
WS1 + WS3 - Pack 1+3
WS2 + WS3 - Pack 2+3
WS1 + WS2 + WS3 - Pack 1+2+3
Please note that packs of workshops are only refundable as a whole. Partial reimbursements of packs are not possible.

After September 1st, this discount will not be available. Additionally, the fees applied after this period will be higher and non-members will be able to register for the events.
General Public
As detailed in the table, registrations are open to the general public after September 1, 2024, with early-bird prices until September 15, 2024. During this period, everyone may register for the workshops. Due to the limitation of seats in the different events, those who register, but do not have seats, will remain on the waiting list. For all those registered with a seat, you will have until September 16 to make the payment, but it is advisable to do so immediately with the registration.
If registration is made and confirmed after September 16 (late registration), the deadline for payment is September 27.
After each of these payment deadlines, if payment has not been made, the reservation of the seat may be lost, in favor of those who have remained on the waiting list. The wait listers will be contacted to confirm registration and make payment immediately, to ensure their seat.

PAYMENT METHODS
When finishing your registration, a proforma invoice is automatically generated. The invoice may be paid online with credit card (preferred method) or you may download the invoice and pay via bank transfer. The bank details are on the generated proforma invoice. In case you choose the latter form of payment you must send an email to tesoreria@ghep-isfg.org with the proof of transfer. More information in the Payment procedures page.
